We’re looking for an experienced Nav/Business Central Engineer to join our NAV/Business Central Implementation team, to aid in developing features that will enable better business outcome across our company.
The individual we are looking for will have the ideal combination of technical and soft skills to be able to work in a cross functional team. The team need someone with experience of software engineering in NAV and Business Central, is keen to share their knowledge, and help us make the most of the technology.
This is a full-time role, and our offices are in Central Manchester and Rochdale. We currently offer hybrid working with the recommendation of 3 days a week in the office. However, we welcome applicants outside Greater Manchester to start a conversation for further flexibility for the right person.

You’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside a Product Manager, Project Manager, Nav/BC Engineers, Power Apps Engineers, and QA engineers. The role comes with the opportunity to contribute towards the established community of practices at Footasylum and help promote better ways of working.
The team are currently involved in enhancing the current 365+ user NAV implementation and preparing a re-implementation in D365 Business Central. The work is exciting, using latest Microsoft technology, and the team is always learning and testing the capabilities of new technology.

You’ll need experience of
- Developing within Dynamics NAV (Versions 2015 to 2018).
- Operated in an end-user environment, or at a Dynamics partner in an implementation role.
- Experience developing AL extensions for Business Central.
- Pair or mobbing on problems, sharing knowledge, and removing silos.
- Coaching and mentoring Nav/Business Central engineers, able to help them level up their skills.
- Connecting with different roles within the team and the department and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Using Azure Devops to release software in both test and production environments.
It will also nice if you have (but not essential!) any experience of
- Microsoft Azure

We’re offering up to £65,000 for the right person, which we assess based on your own experiences, technical skills and against the principles of our department and our ways of working.
