Project Manager
The Opportunity

The Project Manager role sits within the Digital Change team and manages changes from initiation through to handover to BAU. Using business change expertise this role supports the department on how to implement change which impacts people and processes and supports the running and continuous development of the central portfolio team.
The Team
The PMO function is part of the IT team, who work closely with the Digital Tech team and other business areas, to coordinate and manage digital projects from start to finish. Focusing on the project lifecycle, the team work to understand the project journey and the various business functions and systems impacted, so that we can coordinate and include all relevant business areas throughout the project. We act as the voice of the project managing progress reporting, risk monitoring & decision tracking, to ensure projects are delivered on time and to scope. Strong communication is key within the PMO function, to ensure everyone is informed to the right level, and at the right time, to ensure clear and transparent updates throughout the business.
Responsibilities
Project Responsibilities
· You will manage project from initiation to BAU through the change governance processes defined by PMO.
· You will manage the creation of project documentation in collaboration with business stakeholders.
· You will identify clear and measurable objectives for the project and consider data from the outset, empower team to leverage data over opinion when working towards business outcomes.
· You will own the creation and delivery of the project plan, responsible for driving the project through to completion, overseeing the input from all parties.
· You will be responsible for managing and contributing to projects within an Omnichannel programme, to deliver value across the business.
· You will highlight risks to the project success and resolve or escalate, were appropriate.
· You will work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish strong partnerships.
· You will communicate clearly with all levels of the business and bring together technical and non-technical conversations.
· You will identify resource requirements upfront and highlight where there may be potential crossover with other projects.
· You will embrace and promote a strong team culture with a focus on collaborative working, open communication and working towards the best service for our customers.
Business Change Responsibilities
· You will be delivering technical change across retail, bridging technical and business teams.
· You will support the PMO department in governance tasks that enable the department to deliver change safely and continuously evolve our ways of working.
· You will support Technical PMs with some of the non-technical responsibilities, such as business impact and comms planning, budget management and cutover planning (where necessary).
· You will chair steering boards and regular project review meetings (such as retrospectives etc.) that enable us to learn lessons about how we improve delivery in Footasylum.
