Full Time 37.5 Hours
Join us full-time (37.5h) to drive sales and stock with a collaborative team across stores, online and planning. Grow your skills, stay customer-first, and DEFY ORDINARY.
The Role:
We are recruiting for a full time position working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. In this role you will contribute to the commercial success of the business by managing day-to-day responsibilities that support sales, margin and stock performance. You will work collaboratively across merchandising, buying, stores and planning teams to help deliver an excellent customer experience across our stores and online channels.
You will DEFY ORDINARY by bringing commercial insight, attention to detail and a customer-first mindset to your work. Whether analysing performance, supporting promotional activity or liaising with suppliers and stores, you will play a key part in driving results and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
-
Produce regular trading reports and summaries of key performance indicators (sales, margin, stock versus budget and prior year) for areas of responsibility.
-
Provide weekly trading actions and recommendations to optimise department sales and margin.
-
Maintain and forecast stock, intake and replenishment plans to ensure availability while controlling inventory risk.
-
Respond to stores’ inventory and availability queries, acting as a key contact to support trading activity.
-
Analyse promotional and markdown activity; ensure markdowns are applied in line with the markdown calendar and commercial plan.
-
Support product selection, allocation and range decisions in collaboration with buying and merchandising teams.
-
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support delivery of the commercial plan.
-
Identify opportunities for process improvements and share best practice to enhance performance across the business.
-
Ensure compliance with quality, ethical and trading standards in all aspects of the role.
About you:
You are commercially minded, analytical and organised with the ability to work effectively with data and multiple stakeholders. You communicate clearly, negotiate confidently where required and make considered decisions in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience in retail merchandising, buying or commercial planning is desirable, but we also welcome applicants who can demonstrate ambition, a proactive approach and a collaborative attitude.
Teams and development:
You will join a supportive merchandise and commercial community where collaboration, development and progression are encouraged. The role offers opportunities to work across departments and channels, gaining exposure to merchandising, buying, stores and distribution. We invest in training and mentoring to help you grow and take on greater responsibility.
Diversity:
We recognise and value the importance of diversity to ensure a wide range of perspectives when serving colleagues and customers. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
Recruitment process:
We review applications on an individual basis. If your application is shortlisted we will invite you to an initial call or video interview to discuss the role and give you the opportunity to learn more about the team. We aim to provide an informal and friendly interview environment and are happy to consider any reasonable adjustments you may require prior to or during the recruitment process.
